Hubungan Pengetahuan dan Kepatuhan Penerapan Proteksi Radiasi: Studi pada Mahasiswa Praktik Klinik Jurusan Teknik Radiodiagnostik dan Radioterapi, Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang

Background: Radiation protection is very important for patient and personnel safety in radiology services. It has been given the college through classical lectures, including Radiodiagnostic Radiotherapy Department Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang. The student’s knowledge routinely evaluated but their compliance clinical activities never specifically observed. This study aims to find out relationship between toward of application radiation on practice students.Methods: quantitative research with a cross-sectional design. Research was conducted 90 second-year internship students Department. level measured by written test, while observed observation. affecting factors are investigated indepth interview. Data were analyzed Spearman Rank Correlation.Results: levels among "excellent” (18%), "good" (68%), "fair" (14%). (73%) "very good" (27%). There significant (p value 0.05). strength low (coefficient interval = 0.257). Conclusions: compliance, it not only influencing factor. environment tends have an effect compliance. Radiographers instructors should be good role model applying protection.
